United Battle Out a Hard Fought Draw - 21/10/06On Saturday 21st October, Communities United JFC under 8's played their first ever home game against Hough End Griffins. After two great victories, CUJFC recorded thirty goals shared through the team, the Griffins would provide a much tougher test with only one previous defeat.
It was a great game, with plenty of goal mouth action and end to end play. Both teams created good goal scoring chances but in the end the sides could not be separated and the game ended nil nil. In only their 3rd competitive match, CUJFC have shown a great team spirit and togetherness. With the great support from the PFC coaches, manager Baz and their parents, the future is bright (orange).
Man of the Match: Ben McCoy - for great defending
