Communities United FC U8 v Lymm U8 - Sat 20th Oct, Handforth

Communities beat a weak Lymm side 7-0 with goals from Comran (3), Jordan (1), Cyrus (1) Max (1) and Will (1). The nearest Lymm got to scoring was when they were awarded a penalty however, Communities goalkeeper Will made a great save. Communities utilized players in different positions again throughout the game and this is proving effective. The Man of the Match was awarded to Jordan for his tireless running, effective passing and maintaining his position throughout the game.

JJB U8 Soccer Tornament - Sat 13th Oct, Trafford Centre 

Communities played in 3 matches and managed to win 2 and draw 1. First game was a comfortable 4-1 win against a strong Broad heath team with goals from Naz (2), Tyrese and Max. Communities then repeated the score line in their second match achieving another 4-1 victory against AFC Meadow side with goals from Comran (2), Naz and Max T. The final match against Cheadle and Gatley was a close encounter and the 1-1 score line was a fair result with a great headed goal from Tyrese. The Man of the Match was awarded to Naz who played well in all of the 3 matches.

Meadow side U8 v Communities United U8 - Friendly 29th Sep

A comfortable 6-1 win for Communities away at AFC Meadow side with goals from Tyrese (3), Jordan (1), Naz (1) and Max (1). A great hatrick from Tyrese including two fantastic left foot strikes from long range. The Man of the Match was awarded to Communities goalkeeper Will for a couple of great saves in a match where the ball was largely at the opposite end of the field for the majority of the game.

Communities United U8 v Alderley Nomads U8 - Friendly 22nd Sep

An entertaining match between the two teams. At the final whistle, Communities came out comfortable winners achieving an 8-1 victory with goals from Symmo (3), Jordan (2), Naz (2) and Ty (1). Pick of the goals was a spectacular direct free kick from Naz which ended up in the top corner of the net, leaving the Nomads goalkeeper with little chance. Communities used this friendly as an opportunity to utilize players in different positions throughout the game and this proved highly effective. Although Communities goalkeeper William had little to do throughout, he did make a couple of great saves for the team when required. The Man of the Match was awarded to Max for his hard work and effort throughout as well as always playing with a smile on his face. Next week, Communities are away to Urmston.
