RYA VHF & DSC Course
RYA VHF/DSC Course, Short Range Certificate (SRC) covers all the radio procedures, including routine, distress and urgency procedures, to enable you to legally use a VHF radio as this qualification is a legal requirement.
£90 + VAT per person
Price shown is for courses held in our Warsash classroom and includes full course instruction using the latest simulation equipment. Also includes tea, coffee and biscuits but lunch is not provided.
This course carries a RYA certification fee of £25/person on successful completion of the test. This should be paid on the day by cheque (payable to RYA) or credit card only (no cash)

Course Overview
This one day course covers all radio procedures to enable you to legally use a VHF radio. Radio users that are not operating under license may receive heavy fines. This qualification must be completed if you wish to attend any RYA practical exams or gain a commercial endorsement.
