RYA Own Boat Training - Powerboat & Motor Cruising Courses

Own Boat Training, is provided on all motorboats and powerboats for practical courses in the UK or abroad, tidal & non-tidal. Day Skipper Practical and Powerboat Level 2 are our two most popular own boat tuition courses.

     £220.00 per day + VAT (Solent area)
   £250.00 per day + VAT (Other areas)

Price shown is for one Skipper/Instructor per day for training on your own boat. Price does not include Skipper's travel (UK and abroad) and food. The full day rate will be charged for travel days when flying abroad.

Benefits of Own Boat Tuition

1. Training tailored, by you, to your own requirements ensuring you maximum benefit.
   
2. Total flexibility to choose dates that suit you all year round.
   
3. This is by far the cheapest way to train as our day rate does not increase if more students attend (max. 3 for powerboat <10m, max. 4 for motorboat >10m but <24m)
   
4. For new owners the benefit of getting to know their new boat (electronics and systems etc) with a professional instructor on board to assist.
