Price shown is for courses on our school boat, Dark Angel - click here for Own Boat Tuition - and includes full course instruction, all safety equipment, fuel, berthing fees, food (excluding evening meal), accommodation aboard (if required) which includes towels, bed linen, duvets and pillows. The vessel has a generator, is heated and has TV/DVD player. Foul weather clothing available on request at no extra charge.

We run Helmsman courses year round but book this course on request. Often running alongside the Day Skipper Practical Course (see dates)when training on Dark Angel. This serves to give students the opportunity to set the standard to achieve on the next course and provides real crew for the Day Skipper candidates to manage under the tutalage of our experienced instructor.
Course Overview
This two day practical course is ideal for students new to boating and wishing to assist the Skipper rather than being in command of a motor cruiser. Designed for tidal or non tidal waters and includes practical application of the RYA Basic Navigation & Safety shorebased theory course knowledge, basic boat handling, engine checks, safety & Helmsmanship while under tuition with plenty of advice and help from our instructors.
