RYA Basic Navigation & Safety Shorebased Training Course provides the perfect step to the more in-depth Day Skipper Shorebased Course.
£190 + VAT per person
Price shown covers the 2 day course with full instruction and all training aids supplied. Each student is provided with the RYA course pack (includes plotter). Also includes tea, coffee and biscuits but lunch is not provided. The syllabus provides an introduction to navigation and safety on small boats.

Course Overview
This two day shorebased theory course is ideal for complete beginners. The course includes an introduction to chart work, safety, engine checks, buoyage, tidal awareness, navigation, pilotage, anchoring, passage planning and weather forecasts.
